The 25th Foundation Day of R&A on 23rd October, 2022 is another milestone in the journey of R&A

The foundation day is a day etched with tradition and history. On this day we are reminded of how R&A was formed 18 years ago and reflect on our early days and how far we have come as an organization

The journey from birth, to infancy, to adolescence, to now attaining the majority status has been indeed very enriching, and that of continuous change. Our quest to learn, zeal to give outstanding service, desire to grow and the dream to become an eminent player in our domain space, has allowed us to lay a strong foundation.

Over these years, R&A has gained valuable experience, confidence and maturity in dealing with the Corporate’s, lending institutions, regulatory authorities, co-professionals, startups, angel investors, accelerators etc., as a result of which it has been able to carve-out a professional, credible image in the professional fraternity.

In our journey and serving over 300 plus clients, we have received admiration, guidance, appreciation, suggestion and at times criticism as well. We have taken it in true spirit and worked upon improving our self. Day after day we strengthen our resolve to move forward more resolutely in achieving our mission.

Our Mission is to deliver outstanding client services; to provide fulfilling careers and professional satisfaction for our people; and to achieve growth &financial success so that we can reward ourselves and fulfil our corporate social responsibilities.

Now, R&A is perhaps entering a new phase of more challenging times. It is therefore extremely important for us to remain focused on the changing business dynamics so as to keep up our position.

APJ Abul Kalam in his poem “Soaring Dream” said : “when we are united in action and addicted to deeds sky can be limit for my nation in action !”

Service areas: R&A, as a Corporate Legal services firm is rendering wide spectrum of services to Indian and multinational clients across diverse businesses starting from brick and motor to new economy through its locations in Hyderabad, Gurgaon & Chennai.

The areas of service of R&A include Corporate Secretarial Services, Audit & Assurance (Secretarial Audit, Foreign Exchange Audit., Social Audit etc.,), Regulatory Approvals & Representation, Corporate Governance, Legal Due Diligence and Transaction Documents, FEMA & RBI Compliances, Joint Ventures, Mergers, Amalgamations and Acquisitions, Employees Stock Based Compensation, Intellectual Property Rights, Advisory on Capital Raising, Services to Lending Institutions, Export Oriented Units and many more. Our main focus areas under the new Act is Secretarial and Compliance Audit.

With the implementation of Companies Act, 2013, the role of Practising Company Secretaries (PCS) has been further widened. The thrust is now on “Secretarial and Compliance Audit” and we at R&A having laid the strong foundation are geared up to take on the new challenges and ensure that compliances are done in letter and spirit.

We at R&A strive to continuously upgrade the knowledge of our associates as well as our clients by conducting various seminars and study circle sessions. We also integrate technology in our day to day to work to ensure smooth and efficient functioning and timely deliveries. We are also investing on technology in order to ensure smooth and efficient work flow and document management.

Having received commendable appreciation from our clients whom we have provided impeccable and consistent legal services, we are in the process of establishing a full service Corporate Law Firm. We basically intend to leverage the strength that we have garnered over a period of time to tap more opportunities.

Apart from domain knowledge, our key to success is the ability to understand the different challenges faced by our clients as a result of technological changes, evolving government regulations, and competitive pressures in the marketplace and to provide innovative solutions and assist them to meet these challenges successfully.

CSR Initiatives : R&A is committed with its CSR initiatives. R&A has supported Abhaya Foundation one of the pioneer NGO’s in Hyderabad deeply involved in the community service in the areas of Health care, education, rural development, transformation and spreading awareness. R&A has been closely working with Abhaya in its various other initiatives and my co-founder G Raghu Babu has been elected as President of Abhaya Foundation for a term of 2 years.

Prime Minister Modi’s – Japan and US visits were quite ecstatic and euphoric. There have been discussions on increasing trade between India and these nations. We as professionals will have to gear up for the immense opportunities that will be thrown up to us. All of us need to work and transform our country from a developing to developed nation. Let’s do our bit in this mission. Let us all work diligently and hard in order to get success and happiness.

Let’s us strive not with Happiness as the goal of our journey, but happiness as our companion.
